If you have never been to a Pentecostal church before, then you are in for a treat! The idea of Pentecost originates from Acts 2:1-4, which reveals that, “on the day of Pentecost,” the Spirit was poured out in an upper room where about 120 were together with one mind and one accord. The response to the Spirit falling was enough to gather the attention of those in the city of Jerusalem, wondering “what meaneth this?” 

That may be what some think when they come into a Pentecostal church today, as they observe heartfelt worship, freedom, and the zeal of a people whose worship and engagement with the Word of God is demonstrative and filled with excitement.  

King David, a man next to God’s own heart, was a worshipper. He wrote of clapping his hands, lifting his hands, dancing before the Lord, and worshipping with freedom and liberty. We would like to think that David would be very comfortable in our church! 

In Sunday School for adults and kids, we have fun, but also go deep into the Word of God. We serve breakfast and coffee every Sunday morning during adult and kid classes, and the series in Adult Sunday School will likely send you home with handouts and even devotional homework!
